In this season premiere we meet Ramazan, Gugu, Yaya and Gina as they grapple with issues of what it means to be trans in the South African context.

Gina meets with her family to discuss her upcoming surgeries, and to let them know she wants to change her name from Mxolisi to Nomxolisi.

Yaya visits a plastic surgeon to discuss breast augmentation surgery while we get a glimpse into Rama's daily life as a father and husband.

Rama and his wife have a meeting with his family where they spill the beans, while Gugu meets up with his ex-girlfriend to apologise. Yaya goes to home affairs to make some inquiries.

Yaya goes on a date with her love interest, a trans man named Nino. Rama and Gugu join their friends at the car wash to catch up, and something unexpected happens.

Rama attends the high court in support of a member of the LQBTIQ community. Gugu touches base with Sazi, a friend of his who also happens to be a transgender woman.

Yaya continues with her journey to find her mother. Meanwhile, Gugu meets with his doctor to prepare for breast surgery.

Gina's friends go down memory lane. Yaya goes on a search for her mother and visits her family home. Gina's family remember her at the grave site.

It is the feather awards and Yaya will be attending this glamorous event. Gugu takes a leap of faith and visits his friend to enquire on any possible job opportunities.

Rama has been ill after reacting badly to some medication. Gugu goes to see a plastic surgeon to find out about the cost of top surgery while Yaya has a photo shoot.

The journey of Yaya finding her mother continues and Gugu is trying his luck in pursuing a relationship with a lady by the name of Pinky.

Yaya goes back to her family in KZN to confront them about the secrets they have been keeping from her.
