An intriguing season two premiere. Six months later, things are going well for Reyka. But after a disastrous TV interview and the discovery of a brutal murder at a lookout point, cracks appear in Reyka's 'perfect' new world.

When a second victim turns up at Lover’s Lane the police are misled by the killer’s MO. But Reyka knows one thing – the missing shoes are the key. Speelman gets a day pass to appear before social services.

The ambush fails, and the Lover's Lane killer evades the police. Reyka starts to build a profile and make sense of the missing shoes. When the killer's first female victim washes up on shore, Reyka links her to a hotel.

After a man drowns in her bed, Reyka finds herself at the centre of the investigation. The walls close in on her, and she needs Elsa’s support. Ayanda starts to question her relationship with Zee.

The promise ring found on Portia’s finger links the investigation back to Speelman. He hides out in a hotel but finds himself the target of unwanted attention. The first female victim is identified.

Speelman slips through Reyka’s fingers but has to seek refuge in the harbour underworld. Reyka draws links between the cobber shop and Lover’s Lane murders but struggles to unlock the killer’s identity.

Ayanda’s relationship with Zee implodes as his secrets are revealed. Reyka is caught between helping Jodie find her mother, issues with Elsa, and connecting the dots in her murky past.

In this thrilling season finale, another brutal murder at Lover’s Lane leads Reyka deep into the sex worker trade and to the truth behind what happened to Jodie’s mother.
