Lorna tries to pick up the pieces after the breakup. Nhlanhla and Ntombi are dealing with the reality of their families being in the dark about their living conditions.

Lona's mother is unable to hide her disappointment. The Mkhontos are unhappy with their makoti, while Sabelo refuses to commit. Ntombi is ready for round two with Nhlanhla's Gogo.

Sabelo's sister faces a murder accusation. The Mthembus are unhappy with Ntombi's arrival, and Lona's family decide to take the child to Sipho's family.

Nhlanhla has had enough with his family and acts out. Lona wants the 'Tazz guy' at the DNA testing, and Sabelo's mom summons him and Gcina to a family meeting.

Ntombi and Nhlanhla come face to face with Ntombi's dad. Sipho's friends don't believe Sipho is ready for marriage, and the Mkhonto meeting ends in tears.

Gogo and MaMthembu talk about how Nhlanhla has changed, blaming it on Ntombi. Lona and Obama meet to do the paternity test, and things don't go as planned.

Lona talks to her friend, Phindi, about what happened during the DNA testing. Obama updates Samu on the DNA test saga. Nhlanhla talks to Mzala about wanting to take a cow to the Zulu family.

Gcina arrives home and updates her family about the meeting with the Mkhonto family. Gogo, Maskay and MaMthembu go on an outing. Obama gives his uncle an update regarding the DNA test.

Sabelo calls his mom to tell her that Gcina's dad wants a meeting. Lona and her mom reconcile and talk about DNA testing not being cultural. Gcina and Olga gossip about the Mkhontos.

Ntombi and Nhlanhla deal with the aftermath of their housewarming party. MamThembu tells Gogo and Maskay what she saw when she went to see where Nhlanhla lives.

Gcina and Sabelo work on their therapy homework. Ntombi and her uncle pray over the lobola negotiations.

Ntombi, Aunty and Ncane think Sabelo is bewitched. Sipho and his uncles wake up late for the lobola negotiations.

A dramatic season finale as Sipho and his uncles arrive drunk at Samu's family home. Lorna tells her friend she is ready for a new start.
