The Cillié family has been farming in the Ceres valley for more than a century. These days they produce fruit, vegetables, onion plants and seeds and has Dohne-merino sheep.

Piet Warren, from the farm Josephine near Gravelotte in Limpopo is synonymous with game, and his world renowned Sable breeding program is his pride and joy.

Number Two Piggeries, with David Osborne at the helm, employs more than a thousand people. David own piggeries in South Africa and Namibia with a total of 20 000 sows.

André Cloete farms near Caledon in the Overberg district on the farm Klein Ezeljacht. He farms with sheep, apples and pears and delivers fruit for export to Tru-Cape and Two-a-Day.

Arend Kuipers immigrated to South Africa in 1973 and started to build his poultry empire near Pretoria. Today the Kuipers Group is the biggest poultry group in the country.

Greenway Farms originated in 1992 when Vito Rugani and Vincent Sequeira decided to join forces. Today Greenway Farms is the benchmark carrot farm in South Africa.

Milaan Thalwitzer of the Bosveld Group is the biggest private citrus producer in South Africa. Milaan received the Agricultural Writers National Farmer of the Year title in 2014.
