IZANGOMA ZODUMO, Episode 5

Gogo Maweni keeps fighting for her place in society while the new Sangomas Sabelo (Mkhulu) and Pearl (Makalihle) Sifundza are confronted with a difficult case of a falsely accused client.

The Sifundza's have unexpected visitors from the village who need serious help. Gogo Maweni decides to tell the father of one of her kids a piece of her mind.

Mkhulu Sifundza has an itching feeling he is getting bewitched, so he retaliates. While Gogo Maweni is teaching her initiates, Khanyile interrupts but the ancestors dictate their meeting.

Khanyile goes to Orange farm to consult with a close family member. He is confronted with the obvious truth of his drug problem. Gogo Maweni has her first big intwaso ceremony.

Gogo Maweni and Sabelo Mgube experience conflict between them on their way to Gogo Maweni's herbal store. The ancestors take over Mkhulu and Makasihle's evening while they dine at Kwa-Max.

Maweni's new friend Nkabati pays Maweni a surprise visit to chat but ends up being read. Sabelo (Mkhulu) and Pearl (Makalihle) Sifundza go hunting for a venue for their dlozi event.

Gogo Maweni is excited about surprising her mom with a new car, but again fighting with Sabelo nearly spoils the surprise. Mkhulu and Makalihle have family engagements, to bury old wounds.

Sabelo (Mkhulu) and Pearl (Makalihle) Sifundza leave for their first ever flight to Johannesburg and Gogo Maweni graduates to Dr Maweni.

As Sabelo (Mkhulu) and Pearl (Makalihle) Sifundza meet with an event planner and check out Johannesburg. Dr Maweni also takes a trip to Mpumalanga to see how one of her initiates is doing.

Abakhongi are at Maweni's house to pay dowry and she goes shopping for a cow at an auction. The Sifundzas get lost in Joburg trying to sign a deal with Makalihle brother's music producers.

Sabelo and Pearl Sifundza go out for a date but it all goes pear shaped when Mkhulu gets jealous. Dr Maweni's cow and Sabelo Mgube shows off his village boy skills.

Maweni's big cow event is in procession, will Dr Maweni move with the rhythm of the drums and impress her elders?

Sabelo (Mkhulu) and Pearl (Makalihle) Sifundza host their big medium event while Dr Maweni eventually becomes Mrs Mgube.
