To feed his pride and protect his dignity, Mzee Balozi, a wealthy and respected man in the society, makes the greatest mistake that will prove to be the source of his death.

Due to her ignorance and greed, Fridah ends up killing Balozi and decides to switch Lola, her actual daughter in place for Nina and take her to Dylan as her daughter.

After Balozi's death, Bosco has to find a way to get rid of his corpse. Panicked and confused, they resort to burying him in their backyard. In the process, Lola walks in on them.

DYLAN tries to use LWANDA to find a way to get to LOLA through NINA. In the process, LWANDA and NINA end up starting to grow feelings for each other but both can't really open up.

In the process of courting NINA, LWANDA gets to meet with NESH who is in a complicated relationship with NINA, for the first time. They seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot.

After trying to prove that Lola is not Dylan's daughter by doing a DNA test. Linda finds herself in an embarrassing moment after disclosing the results to Dylan.

After managing to move to the Kambarage's mansion, Lola does not have it easy as she expected. She also has to deal with hate from Linda.

Dylan agrees to take in the rest of Lola's family, Fridah, Bosco and Nina, to come and live with them in his residence.

While NINA has a pure heart, Lola continues growing more hateful and jealous of Nina who seems to be getting Lwanda's attention more than her.

Nina has just been appointed as Dylan'S PA at one of the Kambarage's company. Now both living in the mansion, both Nina and Lola want Lwanda'S attention.

Osman is still in the quest of finding his grandfather Balozi and his first suspects are the Kambarage's. Linda is still on Lola's case trying to get rid of her.

In an attempt to get Nesh closer to Nina, Lola manages to secure a job for him at KAMBARAGE HOLDINGS where Nina just started working. With Nesh's presence, Lwanda feels threatened.

Dylan is requested by the police to go in for questioning about Balozi's disappearance. Lwanda manages to break into Dylan's computer to access all the company records.

Lola attempts to cause a rift between Lwanda and Nina by using Nesh to send gifts to Nina and woo her into taking him back.

LOLA invites NESH to a hotel in an attempt to convince him to get closer to Nina. Unfortunately, Lwanda finds out and informs Nina about them.

Lwanda luckily survives the bullet which comes as a great relief to everyone. During this time, Nina and Lola are still fighting on getting Lwanda's attention.

Because of the fear and in an attempt to get rid of Osman, Fridah confesses to Dylan about Osman's whereabouts which leads to his arrest.

Nina receives an unwelcome surprise from Nesh and his parents who come to seek for a hand in marriage which threatens her relationship with Lwanda.

Even after the home proposal fails, Nesh is still determined and goes to propose to Nina at the office but Nina still rejects him.

Nina spends time with Lwanda but lies to Lola about it. She works together with him to surprise his Aunt Julia for her birthday.

Lwanda tries to win the hearts of Nina's parents so as to get their blessings to marry Nina. This proves difficult as Fridah and Lola have an agenda.

Roda finds out from Lily that Nina is Dylan's biological daughter and not Lola. At the time this happens, Lola gets her new identity card with the Kambarage sir name.

Lola is broken by Nina running away with Lwanda and decide to go after her at Lwanda's place. In the process, she takes Nina's stuff with her.

Despite Lola going to confront Nina at Lwanda's place, Nina holds her ground and stands against her. Lwanda and Nina end up being engaged.

Timothy ends up having a fallout with Ann and threatens to expose her. To protect herself, Ann hires someone else to get rid of Timothy so as to protect their secret.

To get back at Shila for coming between his parent's marriage, Bien offers to invite Lola and Shila to a party but he has a sinister plan against Shila.

Bien, who blames Greg for leaving Linda, decides to humiliate Shila at the party so as to get her to leave Greg alone.

Fearing for Lwanda's well being and safety from Timothy, Nina goes to tell Dylan about everything not knowing the mistake she is making.

The secret comes out, Dylan, Linda, Zanelle, Fridah and Lola find out that Ann was involved in Lwanda's parent's murder.
