The Comeback, Valerie Bonds With The Cast

Faded television starlet Valerie Cherish attempts to land a role in a new sitcom, Room and Bored, by taking part in a reality show chronicling her somewhat mortifying "comeback".

The cast of Room and Bored is flown to New York City to introduce the media to Aunt Sassy and her attractive young charges. As that happens, the ever bubbly Valerie gets a reality check on just how far her star has fallen.

After a table read for the first official episode, Valerie invites her young costars to a "bonding lunch", but Juna doesn't show up. The two make up later with a one-on-one lunch, where Valerie learns why Juna is such a paparazzi favorite.

Valerie calls for a script change when she feels that the writers are making Aunt Sassy unlikable.

The network tries to spice up Val's show by integrating it with another reality show called "The Littlest Assistant". But Val does not like this one bit.

Valerie tries to boost morale with a late-night cookie delivery that gives new meaning to her trademark line, "I don't wanna see that!"

Valerie pulls some strings to get a name actor to play Aunt Sassy's love interest. Later, Mark's behaviour brings his intimacy issues to light.

Valerie and Mark head to Palm Springs for the weekend, and she finds a new mentor in an old acquaintance.

Two new cast members join "Room and Bored," and Franchesca's new friend shakes the status quo at home.

Valerie hires a new publicist to get her picture on a magazine cover. Valerie is forced to take a yoga crash course.

Valerie gets a new dress and a new look for a familiar television awards show. Valerie's publicist pressures her to get a picture on the red carpet with Juna.

Jane tries to get Valerie more lines on "Room and Bored", and a stalker threat forces extra security on the set.

Valerie hosts a premiere party for "The Comeback" in the season finale and appears on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."
