Recipes For Love And Murder, Episode 3

Picking up on the last season, the McClintocks are at Maria's doorstep and are here to claim part ownership to her home. As Hattie plans to announce her mayoral campaign, multiple fires break out in the town.

Frank's body is taken to the local mortuary in Eden, where we meet Jackie, the undertaker, and her assistant Leonard. Whilst questioning Georgie on Frank's movements, the police notice some holes in Georgie's story.

As the investigation into Frank's death continues, Georgie and Maria reflect on the feelings of losing a spouse. Jessie does her own snooping and discovers that Marius Rabie's gardener was spotted on the night of the fire.

At Frank's funeral, people from the town show up, and Piet strikes an unlikely friendship with the mortician's assistant. Jessie is invited over for dinner at Regardt's home, but his mother's subtle racism doesn't help.

The following morning, news of a tragic accident travels through town and another respected member of the town is found dead in tragic circumstances. Georgie is notified about the proof of a double life her husband led.

Maria breaks into Marius Rabie's office and is arrested for breaking and entering. Her worst fear has now become a reality, she has officially lost half her stake in her home to Aileen. Meanwhile Jessie breaks up with Regardt.

It's voting day and the town is out in full force. When Maria receives a letter from Leonard, confessing to the murders, a town shut down is immediately ordered to further protect the citizens.

All is not as it seems and the killer is still on the loose, in fact, the killer has been under their nose all this time. The race against the clock begins and the trio must now rush to save another victim.
