Makofi, Episode 23

A father resists his daughter's desire to become a boxer, while her mother is very supportive. She encourages the daughter to chase her dream.

David gets a visitors after Anna makes a great impression at the trials. David is still resistant over Anna's boxing desires and tries to dissuade her.

After David has finally accepted Anna's passion for boxing, he is inspired to do more for her success, Gunduzani tries to get Anna into his stable.

As Haggler contemplates a boxing come back to raise funds for his daughter, Joe undermines him while making plans with Moses to persuade David for an international fight.

Things are progressing fast towards David's big comeback bout. With frustrations mounting, David is unhappy with the organizing party but Joe convinces him to go ahead.

David takes on the challenge and finally gets into the ring for a comeback fight with Jabulani his coach. Anna is excited but anxious, while Izukanji is terribly worried.

At the funeral, the family is surrounded by friends. Anna makes an interesting discovery and her mother is openly unhappy about it.

Anna is drinking but Petronella tries to discourage her from indulging too much. Joe is making big moves at the Makofi gym talking to Bosco into going professional.

Izukanji and Joe sell the gym, without Anna's knowledge. Andy is unhappy after finding out from Petronella that Anna has gone out with Bosco.

Kalumba learns that Izukanji has sold the gym and does not take it lightly. Joe secures Bosco's loyalty after turning down Mulenga's offer to train Bosco.

Kalumba finds out about Moses's attempt to change the Makofi gym ownership. Joe assures Anna that she'll regret her decision to run the gym.Makuzza pays Izukanji a visit.

Anna asks her mother to give the money back to Joe or risk going to jail. Moses threatens Joe over Makofi gym troubles and makes demands for his money.

Kalumba come through in a surprising way over the Makofi gym troubles. Joe decides to make a move after Gundi agrees to partner with him.

Joe brings Bosco to Moses. Anna is given a surprise visit from the Boxing body about the Gym. The Makofi Gym sends out invitations in an effort to attract new members.

The woes of the Makofi Gym pile up, pressuring Anna to consider shutting it down permanently. Makuzza leaves a token of his condolences with Izukanji.

Jabulani confronts Anna about her tardiness and rude behaviour and threatens to quit. Bwalya suspects that Bernard is doing illegal street fights, but he denies it.

Gideon reveals Moses' gambling secret at a fee. Petronella and Anna discuss Moses and the situation at Anna's house. Izukanji and Anna discuss why David hated Moses.

Tiny Trudy takes a trip with Joe, Moses and Gezile shed tears. Bosco asks Gezile to allow things to unfold in their relationship.

Bwalya and Andy go to Bernard's house to talk to his wife about the abuse he puts on Bernard. Anna is troubled that Trudy went for the Olympics and she did not.

Kalumba talks to Anna on how important it is for her to win the fights and stay focused. Anna reached out to Jabulani as she looks for ways of staying focused.

Kalumba and Anna get into an argument at Makofi gym and Jabulani counsels Anna. Joe get an unexpected visit from Anna.

Sharzney invites Jabulani to get insights into the boxing business. Kalumba is anxious about Anna being pregnant and forces her to do a pregnancy test.

Moses asks Kalumba to get Anna to work with Trudy in the interest of their business relationship. Andy is unhappy that Sharzney is eager to work with Anna.

Izukanji is worried when she finds out about Anna's gym troubles. Kalumba is infuriated when she receives an unexpected visit.

After watching Bwalya in the ring, impressed Moses tells Kalumba that Bwalya may have been the best boxer to sign on the Medusa contract instead of Anna.

Anna's goes back to training as a condition for receiving help from Sharzney. Bwalya hits Mercy in the gym.

Anna is shocked to know that Petronella and Philip are dating. Joe encourages Bosco to keep away Anna from Boxing by marrying her.

Chonzi and Izukanji suspect that Anna might be pregnant. Chonzi indirectly asks Anna if she's pregnant or not. Joe stocks Gideon from his car and follows him behind.

Bosco discovers that Anna signed a contract with Medusa. Sharzney tries to buy Anna from Moses but he refuses. Joe tells Bosco to impregnate Anna first before marriage.

Jabulani reviews the past events to Sharzney about him and David. Joe discovers that Moses owns Medusa from Bosco.

Moses warns Joe as he might lose his life if he interferes with his business. Jabulani encourages Anna to take advantage of the fights in the contarct.

After Anna knows that Petronella is pregnant, she shouts at her. Joe offers to help but Izukanji refuse Joes help.

Izukanji continues to push Anna to go to school but Anna is not interested. Petronella is hospitalized and is in the ICU,she is in need of an operation to save her life.
