Chiyumba's sister Kasuwa calls to warn him that the meeting with Mazoka is a trap and he needs to get away right away.

Detective Ng'andu is met with reluctance from her boss when she mentions investigating the minibus violence.

Nampindi finds herself feeling completely out of her element as she struggles to perform simple tasks in Maala, but her struggles lead her to a second meeting with Dimuna.

The Machila minibus batteries are stolen and the drivers believe it is the work of the Shimuunzas trying to sabotage them. Chiyumba is concerned about escalating troubles.

While Kasuwa and Mazoka vie for control of UTA, Lilian pulls the children close as she plots with Devon.

The detectives figure out that Namani and Mubanga lied in their interrogations to protect Kasuwa.

Mazoka scrambles to take control of the UTA, while Detective Ng'andu finds evidence placing a woman at the scene of Lubasi's murder.

Sandi agrees to be a police witness against Kasuwa. Kasuwa is humiliated when she is publicly arrested, while Mazoka is victorious in becoming the new UTA chairperson.

Mazoka baits Chiyumba, threatening to destroy his family. Gamani takes matters into his own hands, interrogating Sandi to try and get him to tell the truth.

Thokozani sets down some boundaries for Chisomo, but the girl is not prepared to listen. Kasuwa is released from police custody.

Detective Ng’andu and DC Phiri become increasingly convinced that Mazoka may be involved in Lubasi's death. Dimuna is concerned when Nampindi is struck down by a mystery illness.

Haanta is enjoying his newfound fame, but it is having a negative effect on Chisomo, whose behaviour is on a downward spiral.

Chiyumba makes a dash for his freedom. Lilian and Devon ease into married life, much to Nampindi's displeasure. Thokozani is furious when he discovers that Chisomo slept with Haanta.

Thokozani grounds Chisomo. Devon’s debit card is declined during a food shop and Lilian is not amused. Mazoka demands that Sunday builds an unescapable dungeon for Chiyumba.

Nampindi has night terrors and Kasuwa brings in a witchdoctor to assess her. Thokozani gives Chisomo the silent treatment.

Sunday delivers Chiyumba to Mazoka. Sparks fly between Dimuna and Det. Ng’andu, who give in to their urges. Nampindi decides to go back to Lusaka to confess her secret to Dimuna.

Nampindi walks in on Dimuna and Det. Ng’andu and is devastated. Meanwhile, Lilian makes plans on Devon’s money tells him they need to open a joint account.

Mazoka agrees to Sunday turning Chiyumba into a zombie, if he will take Chiyumba off his hands immediately. Lilian learns she has lost the summary judgment for the estate.

Lilian is sick and tired of Devon’s false promises; she wants him to put funds in their joint account. Devon's financial woes worsen.

Dimuna comes home to confront Mazoka about the poison letter; together, father and son unearth the culprit. Devon outplays Kasuwa, wrangling himself a seat on the board.

Kasuwa and the wives find a mystery key among Chiyumba’s belongings, leading them to a safety deposit box that holds cash and Chiyumba’s will.

An assassin arrives at Chiyumba’s residence. Lilian discovers the extent of Devon’s debt and when she confronts him, he reacts with violence.

Lilian and Devon's love nest finally shows some cracks. Kasuwa and the wives arrive in Lusaka for the reading of the Will. Dimuna sees a business opportunity.

Despite apologizing, DC Phiri continues to harass Det. Ng’andu, who fills out a formal complaint against him. Dimuna is embarrassed by Nampindi’s public displays of affection.

Haanta is unhappy about the provisions of the will, while Lilian sees an opportunity to draw even closer to him. Dimuna and Nampindi decide to get betrothed.

Det. Ng’andu, in search of the missing guard, stumbles up Sunday’s secret. Nampindi and Dimuna progress plans for their betrothal. Lilian leaves Devon out in the cold as she parties.

Detective Ng’andu makes a raid on Sunday’s hut. Lilian continues to freeze Devon out. Dimuna reluctantly accepts money from Mazoka to pay for the betrothal.

Detective Ng’andu and DC Phiri are forced to release their respective suspects. Mazoka and Sunday are keen to complete the ritual of turning Chiyumba into a zombie.

The assassin strikes and the whole world is rocked; Bubala is critically injured. A strange and worrying prophet also arrives in the valley.
