Dam, Drowning

Yola returns home from Chile for her father's funeral. Her homecoming brings up all kinds of uncomfortable feelings. Themba, a handsome stranger, drives into town.

Jacob's will is read and Yola inherits the farm. Yola wants nothing to do with the farm but is prevented from giving it to her sister Sienna and aunt Dora by a stipulation in the will.

Yola learns that there is a land claim lodged against the farm. She tries to settle the claim by making a deal with the claimant, Lazarus Zita, but discovers that Themba is his grandson.

Yola suspects that Lazarus Zita has something to do with her father's death. Her medication has run out, and she wants to get back to Chile as soon as possible.

Things begin to unravel. Yola starts to question her own view of reality. She makes a very unsettling discovery in her father's attic.

Sienna is convinced that Yola is ill and in need of help. Bernoldus makes a startling discovery in the house and wants to tell Yolanda about it. Victor returns to collect the money from Themba.

Themba searches for Yola but cannot find her. He learns that the land claim has been resolved. Sienna goes to the attic uncovering her father's art; her discovery shakes her to her core.

It is an eventful season finale. It is the day of the Spring Festival, and Yola and Themba, both fugitives, must work together to save the Spring Princess.
