Wangkolota, Episode 3

Patricia borrowed her ex-boyfriend Phillip R100k to help him buy property for their business. After unsuccessfully trying to get Phillip to pay her back, she has now called Wang'kolota.

Nicky borrowed R15K in 2015 to help her brother complete his studies. He promised to pay her when he got a permanent job, but he hasn't kept his word despite working for a couple of years.

Sylvia relied on fellow stokvel member Mmapula to pay her contributions as she couldn't make the meetings. After a tip-off, she found Mmapula would pay half the money. Sylvia wants her money.

Nhlanhla borrowed his cousin Thuli R80k from a RAF payout to clear her bad credit record. She promised to pay him in R3K instalments but never did. Nhlanhla needs the money for a building project.

Jeanet and Shadrack are ex-lovers. In 2017 Shadrack asked Jeanet to lend him R35K. They made an agreement by completing an affidavit, which Shadrack has failed to honour.

In January 2022, Thandi agreed to borrow her cousin Themba R30K from the money she had saved up to buy property. Themba promised to pay back the money at the end of the same month.

79 year old Themba Sibanyoni bought a vehicle for R60k. Mr Sibanyoni never received the car he paid for. The accused, Mr Themba Nkabinde, paid back R27K then started avoiding Mr Sibanyoni.

Lihle and her friends deposited R20 020 into her cousin Sharon's account for a trip to Durban. When Lihle and her friends were set to depart, Sharon went AWOL. The ladies forfeited the trip.

Margaret gave Naphthali R10K to buy her stock. She trusted him and as a pastor, treated him like her son. Naphthali took the money but never came back with the products.

Muxe entrusted long-time friend, Rhulani, with purchasing a vehicle on his behalf. After depositing 20k into Rhulani's account, Muxe claims he did not receive the car he wanted and wants his money back.

Nkosikhona lent his nephew, Bongumusa, 10k to assist in purchasing a vehicle. Things took a different turn when Bongumusa was involved in an accident which resulted in him losing the vehicle and unable to repay his uncle.
