Hotel (Kyknet), Episode 10

Ferdie Kruger is manager of a boutique hotel, the Fransen. The Lourier hotel group buys this rough diamond as their latest acquisition and sends Thomas from head office to monitor the transition.

The staff must fill out forms about the current state of the hotel. Ferdie fears that their feedback will ruin his reputation.

Ferdie is convinced that a swimming pool will guarantee success at his hotel... He only needs to get the idea past Thomas. Uncle Dirk and Brenda must fight for survival.

Ferdie seeks love. Thomas organizes a training day for the staff to sharpen their hospitality skills. Monica, the facilitator, is being tested to the extreme.

Thomas and Ferdie tries to resolve the constant conflict between Brenda and Maggie. Jony is on Oom Dirk's trail, convinced that he's drinking on the job.

After a break-in at the hotel, Ferdie decides to install security cameras. The power of being all-seeing goes to his head and the staff gets annoyed with him looking over their shoulders.

Jony organizes a merger function for Lourier and The Fransen Hotel. This important evening gets disrupted when Ferdie sees a bully from his past on the guest list.

Ferdie disguises himself as a difficult guest after he made a staff shuffle. Then the staff finds out that one of the real guests is a reviewer.

Ferdie realizes the staff doesn't trust him. In the hope of winning trust back, he offers to help with a crisis in the kitchen. Danny finds himself in a challenging romantic situation.

Ingrid du Buisson, a philanthropist, donates a self-portrait to the Hotel after Ferdie and Thomas save her life. Ferdie musters the courage to ask her to donate a swimming pool.

Maggie finds out that they are the only hotel in the Lourier-group that doesn't get a raise. The staff decide to strike, leaving Jony and Thomas to run the Hotel on their own.

The hotel celebrates its 50th birthday. Jony must organize the entertainment, Ferdie battles to find a date, and Thomas has to keep the budget in check.

The hotel's future hangs in the balance and Ferdie pleads with Thomas to use his influence and save them. Bouwer Bosch still refuses to perform, citing a broken heart.
