As Phingiwe finalizes her preps for Thando's memorial, she finds her family reconciliatory efforts slipping from her hands. Meanwhile, Joshua and Isabel declare war on each other.
Charles Sosala shows up at the Thando memorial. Mainza learns about the Gawas' marital woes. Niko barely escapes with his life on a Dumisani sanctioned errand.
Vinny almost strangles Charles Sosala to death. Mainza refuses to get involved in the marital woes of the Gawas. Charles tries to vindicate himself to Vinny.
Charles comes to the Mansion via an excuse to find out about Thando's child, Mutinta. Zuba is paid her dues for her shares and also becomes new owner of the Maluba Fabric Factory.
Lute searches for Thole who apparently swindled her of the money she got from the homestead sale. The Gawas fight over Zuba's money.
Phingiwe and Joshua try to help Vinny with his outbursts, with little success. Tapiwa shows interest to take up the COO position at Sosala Inc, against her parents' wishes.
Lute's lies catch up to her. Isabel sabotages Tapiwa's application to Sosala Inc. Charles manipulates Joshua to gravitate towards supporting him against Phingiwe.
Lute gets bailed out of her predicament with Mr Banda, but has a serious fall out with Mainza. Tapiwa learns that her mother has deleted her application for Sosala Inc's COO position.
Isabel gets a rude shock upon learning that despite her efforts to sabotage the application, Tapiwa has been shortlisted for Sosala Inc COO.
Mainza finally gets Lute arrested for her involvement in the homestead sale. Charles gets a pass to visit Phingiwe's nest at any time.
Niko warns Zuba against dealing with online housing agents. Max goes to meet the Sosala family over dinner. Isabel is barred from being part of the panel that's interviewing Tapiwa.
Joshua visits Suwi with Charles only to inform her that Tapiwa is the new COO. Zuba is conned into buying an unfinished house on an abandoned land. Niko is robbed by 2 members of his staff.
Zuba is conned out of a large sum of money. Charles tries to reconnect with his son Joshua, with little success. Vinny and Zuba almost kiss at their lowest moment.

There is a leak of cartel information and Dumisani suspects Niko as the loose end. Vinny and Tapiwa decide against breaking up.

Dumisani grounds Tapiwa without her knowledge. Niko is conflicted about using the money that he got as payment from Dumisani and Lute devises a plan on how to pay her Chitenge debt back.
Thuso and George visit the Jeres. Lute sells off her pieces of Chitenge to Mr. Shawa at triple the price that she got them from. In a fit of rage Thuso slaps Tapiwa.
Vinny beats Thuso up for hurting Tapiwa. Niko goes on a quest to get evidence for Matthew at Dumisani's place and Charles goes back to his philandering ways with Pamela.
Vinny is arrested for assault and kidnapping. Phingiwe rejects Charles' request for a loan. Dumisani tells Tapiwa the charges against Vinny can be dropped if she agrees to marry Thuso.
Tapiwa agrees to marry Thuso, but he is no longer interested in her. Njenje tries to warn Phingiwe against Charles. Suwi starts doing things to get into the good books with The Sosalas.
Dumisani gets a restraining order against Vinny. Plans for Tapiwa and Thuso's marriage are set to start. Suwi continues her quest to get into good graces with the board members.
Phingiwe asks Natasha to check on Vinny and find out if everything is okay with him, Charles fails to resist temptation when Pamela sends him suggestive photos.
Phingiwe is suspicious of Charles' look when he comes back home but does not pursue the matter further, Lute strikes a business deal with Mofya, Dumisani lifts the house arrest on Tapiwa.
Tapiwa agrees to elope with Vinny, Jordan tells Dumisani of Tapiwa and Vinny's plans to elope and Suwi is enraged when she is told that Tapiwa will be reinstated as COO instead of her.
Vinny manages to close the deal on the restaurant. Tapiwa and Vinny begin to plan their escape and Charles gives money to Pamela from Phingiwe's expense account.
Charles fails to give Phingiwe the details of his alleged business. Suwi's attempts to get into Luyando's good graces backfire.
Phingiwe cannot get rid of the nagging feeling that Charles is cheating on her, Isabel almost walks in on Tapiwa as she hides her bags and Vinny says his subtle goodbyes to his family.
Tapiwa indirectly says goodbye to her family before escaping, Jordan cuts Vinny's breaks and Phingiwe walks in on Charles speaking to Pamela.
Tapiwa goes back home in shame and apologizes to her parents for almost eloping with Vinny, and Vinny is picked up by some random villagers who rob him, but take him to the clinic.
Vinny gains consciousness, Dumisani pushes Tapiwa to focus her energies on her jewelery line and forget about Vinny, and Fanwell finds Charles shopping with Pamela.
Charles tries to bribe Fanwell into not telling Phingiwe about him and Pamela, Pamela and Charles go their separate ways, Natasha becomes growingly concerned about Vinny's absence.
Natasha gets cross with Tapiwa for replacing Vinny. Joshua declines the investment offer from Dumisani. Phingiwe's anger towards Charles dissolves into sympathy when Charles falls ill.
Tapiwa begins to take intentional steps to get over Vinny. Phingiwe puts aside her anger about Charles misusing her money to focus on helping him get better.
Odron catches Niko breaking into his car, Senzeni tells Phingiwe about Charles and Pamela and after following him around, Phingiwe finds Charles red handed with Pamela.
Phingiwe distances herself away from Charles. The Doctor tells Vinny that he will be discharged if he continues on his trajectory of healing. Pamela plays good wife to Charles.
Odron demands to be part of the Interpol investigation, Natasha finds out that Tapiwa is getting married to Thuso soon, and Charles returns to win Phingiwe back.
Pamela gets upset with Charles for going home late. Vinny is discharged from the clinic and goes straight to the Jere residence.
Niko shoots Odron to save his life and keep the investigation going the, Vinny breaks down over Tapiwa and Niko finally manages to get a big break in his investigation.
Lute has an unsuccessful business day. Natasha and Ing'utu finally find Vinny's place. Niko is angry at Zuba for having gone to the Jeres.
Vinny is broken when he learns about Tapiwa's marriage to Thuso. Pamela asks for money for food from Charles and when he does not provide, she serves him salted porridge for lunch.
Lute is relieved when she finds out Joze was just pretending to have collapsed to teach her a lesson. Vinny tries talking Mildred into selling the restaurant back to him.
Charles leaves Pamela's house and seeks solace with Phingiwe, only for Phingiwe to have him served with a restraining order. Charity seeks to help Mainza with getting a job.
Zuba puts some final touches to the preparations for the gender reveal party, Dumisani seeks to reconnect with Ivwananji to release his stress.
Charles' belongings are stolen by junkies and very well knowing that he does not have money, checks himself into a lodge.
Ivwananji tries to warn Niko about the fact that there is a hit on him but seeing that she cannot get through to him, she decides to go and tell Niko about the hit in person.
Dumisani orders for the gunman to finish Niko off but Zuba ends up shooting the gunman, leading to her having nightmares, restlessness and anxiety and Suwi defends Luyando.
Zuba fails to wrap her head around the fact that Mathew was involved in the cartel business and she worries about whether her life with Niko will ever be the same again.
Niko asks Mainza to tell him where Zuba is but Mainza's declines. Charles' bills at the lodge pile up and causes him a punishment like no other.
Isabel advises Dumisani to get away for some time, Janet shares the vision of the maid centre with Njenje and after he spots Charles cleaning at the Lodge, Chiyengi tells Joshua about it.
Pamela advises Charles to go back to his wife and children. After a fight with Niko, Vinny reaches out to Tapiwa to seek closure, but does not get through to her.
Charles wakes up in hospital, still not happy about the offer, Suwi goes to work at Sosala Inc as Tapiwa's consultant and they start off on the wrong foot.

Mildred reminds Vinny of his promises to marry her and tells him that she is there to get married to him. McKayla's pregnancy kit tests positive but Luyando does not believe she is pregnant.
