Mungoma, Episode 39

Zulu celebrates 25 years at the helm of Mungoma Records. Kangwa is furious with Zulu for claiming ownership of Mungoma and taking credit for the label's success.

Zulu and Dr Nkhalango clash. Zanda has to think fast when a young woman he made false promises to shows up at Mungoma Records looking for him.

Towela promises to keep Ruzivo's secret. Muzo receives very good life changing news from an unsuspecting caller. Kangwa makes a shocking discovery.

Naomi behaves uncharacteristically when Kangwa disrespects her husband. Muzo is paid a visit that leaves him angry and hurt. Zanda stumbles across a family secret.

Naomi receives information from an anonymous text, but she is no closer to discovering the truth. A young aspiring musician play truant to go to Mungoma Records.

Zulu is angry and surprised to find Ruzivo has hired a new employee without his knowledge. A heartbroken young woman declares her love to her future husband.

Kangwa makes progress with his plans to expose his nemesis. Alex uncovers a secret that leaves him stunned. A young woman questions a couple's sincerity to one another.

Kangwa is very disappointed when things don't go as planned. Despite promising otherwise, Zanda fails to keep a secret.

Ruzivo and Alex exchange vows but not everyone is happy. Tempers flare when Kangwa and his ex-wife meet. Naomi is irked by a wedding guest who asks too many questions.

A new husband finds himself in trouble with his new bride. Muzo is unforgiving when he receives an apology. Towela decides to take revenge.

Naomi makes a discovery that infuriates her. Zulu receives news that ruins his day. Kangwa's attempts at playing investigator land him in trouble.

Muzo is deeply hurt when he is made to feel invisible. Ruzivo is shocked to find what Towela delivered to Mungoma.

Tempers flare when the identity of the new female artist is revealed. Muzo attracts an admirer. Ruzivo's apology is rejected.

A disappointed mother who tries to put her daughter right is left feeling hurt. Zanda draws both wrath and praise for introducing Chichi as the fresh new talent.

A donation made in good faith attracts scorn from some quarters. A sincere apology is rejected. One mother accuses another of trying to negatively influence her child.

A faithful wife turns vengeful as hell hath no fury as a woman scorned. A request for an unexpected favour leaves Kangwa feeling anxious and curious.

Zulu resorts to desperate measures to save himself. Alex and Zanda are disappointed when a talented new artist turns down the opportunity to sign with Mungoma Record.

Naomi is advised to gear up for the fight of her life against a tough opponent. Zulu plays referee when a scuffle breaks out in hospital.

Zulu makes a death threat. Alex complains bitterly to a friend. When Ruzivo is humiliated and forced to come clean she confides in an unlikely party.

Dr Nkhalango's efforts to endear himself to Naomi backfire. Kangwa is frustrated by the lack of progress to find his assaulter's.

Zulu rewards an accomplice. Zanda is lambasted by his siblings and he goes on a drinking spree to drown his owes. Zulu hires himself a secret righthand man.

Naomi flies into a rage when she makes a shocking discovery. Zulu reveals what his real intentions for Naomi are. Alex stumbles across disturbing information.

Naomi tries some damage control. Kangwa leaves Alex with food for thought about his marriage to Ruzivo. Towela takes desperate measures to keep her relationship.

Zulu tells Dr Nkhalango that he will have to pick a side. Kangwa's plans to buy Shikulu Japhet's Mungoma shares back, he fails when he finds the old man has dementia.

Kangwa and Naomi decide to go ahead and vote Zulu out as C.E.O of Mungoma records. Ruzivo tells Naomi that she is on Zulu's side.

Naomi tells Dr Nkhalango that they cannot Tell Ruzivo the truth about her father. Muzo's old friend who was recently released from prison turns up on Muzo's doorstep.

Zulu remains as C.E.O of Mungoma after Naomi & Kangwa fail to have him voted out. Dr Nkhalango breaks the shocking news to Ruzivo. Ngozi warns Muzo about letting Boxer.

Ruzivo accuses Naomi of lying about her father to get to zulu. Towela tells Zulu that Naomi is planning to hire Hope Temani as her divorce lawyer.

Naomi comes clean to Ruzivo about her father. Kangwa plays Zulu's game and gets rid of Chantelle Soko. Muzo & Ebony are nominated for Mambwe music awards (MMAs).

Ruzivo opens her heart to Muzo. The cracks in Zulu & Alex's relationship start to show when they clash over the MMA nominations.

Kangwa advises Naomi not to act when she's angry. Ebony's song is disqualified from MMA nominations because of a dispute over who wrote the song.

Zulu warns Naomi against getting into a fight with him. Zulu is mad when Alex accepts the decision of the MMA's organizing committee to disqualify queen Sheba's song.

Zulu tells Nkhalango to use the gods to ‘bind' Ruzivo to him. Muzo starts to realize Boxer is stealing when money goes missing from his wallet.

Zulu & Sebastian discuss the next steps to get their hands on the late Shikulu Japhet's shares. Towela leaks the news to the press that Andrea Zulu has filed for divorce.

Busiku (25 Zulu's son) is not impressed to discover that his father wants to meet him. Mufuka rallies the WCL members to vote Naomi out as president of the league.

Towela is relieved to discover Zulu does not know why she consulted Dr Nkhalango in the first place. Boxer attacks Ngozi and Muzo goes after him.

Zulu rages at Alex about Mungoma's poor performance at the MMAs. Muzo is arrested for assault. Mufuka finds Chichi singing and they get into a fight.

Naomi tells Zulu that Towela is not pregnant. Naomi fights back and tells the WCL committee she will challenge their decision to remove her.

Zulu tells Ruzivo he wants her to take a DNA test. Ruzivo accuses Naomi of causing too much hurt and pain. Ebony hints to Alex there may be more to Ruzivo helping Muzo.

Against Zanda's instructions, Ba Esnart decides to tell Naomi about Muzo & Ruzivo. Towela and Busiku meet as total strangers unaware of their link to Zulu.

Zulu tells Busiku why he initially did not believe he was his son. Ruzivo confronts Naomi for trying to pay Muzo to backout of the relationship with her.

Ruzivo tells Zulu she does not want to do the DNA test and he accepts her decision. Zulu deliberately let's slip to Mama Siame that Naomi worships at the shrine.

Alex freaks out when he bumps into a woman who recognises him as someone else. Towela & Busiku bump into Ruzivo & Muzo and its awkward.

Zulu frustrates Busiku when he tells him he will include him in his will. Kangwa & Zanda are tongue tied when ba Esnart turns up for work the next day.

Naomi finds out from Ruzivo that Dr Nkhalango will have to sacrifice her child. Zulu finds out that Dr Nkhalango is Ruzivo's father. Zulu blackmails Alex.
