South Africa is on a standstill ahead of Former President Zondo's verdict. President Mulaudzi's visit to Soshanguve goes horribly wrong.
The situation in Soshanguve goes from bad to worse, as demands are made. The Deputy President is pushed into a corner, and forced to make major decisions on behalf of the country.
The whereabouts of the president are still unknown. Moses suggests that while they wait for the ransom they relax and have a good time.
Thabang is forced to let Moses win when he threatens the life if Dineo who is held captive by Junior. Thabang and Bridget are forced to retaliate in order to save their daughter.
The minister of police tells the DP that his officers are about to break the blockade. Bridget and Thabang comfort Dineo after the incident.
The Deputy President is crushed to learn President Mulaudzi is alive, and Thabang is determined to fight back.
Thabang goes to war for the woman he loves while Moses comes face to face with President Mulaudzi once again.
Hendrik tells his family, he shot Thabang. Mbali is shocked to hear the news.
Mbali has betrayed her family to the authorities. As much as she feels ashamed of her behaviour, the only consolation is a moment she shares with Thabang over the sex of their unborn baby.
President Mulaudzi discovers that someone close to her is working to bring her down and their confrontation turns bloody.
Thabang is reunited with Bridget and Dineo. They return to the Union Buildings to thank President Mulaudzi for her hand in their rescue.
The race to save Soshanguve from doom allows Bridget to see Thabang with new eyes. Hendrik fails to keep his family together as his plans start to fall apart.
Thabang makes the ultimate sacrifice to save thousands of lives in Soshanguve. President Mulaudzi and Former President Hendrik Zondo's meeting ends in bloodshed.
