Annetjie wants Ian to hire one of her former students, and her elderly husband's crook is suing Belinda. Ian must work up the courage to beat his wife in the season premiere of this goofy romantic series.
Belinda realises that Annetjie is struggling to hear and forces her to buy a hearing aid, Ian lies himself into a corner and Dirkie struggles with girls.
Two snobbish acquaintances from Belinda's "former life" arrive and Belinda decides to pretend that she owns the store. Frans teaches Dirkie a few farm-style exercises to build some muscles.
Despite Annetjie's warnings, Belinda refuses to accept that she must wear her glasses permanently and makes a big mistake without them. Annetjie takes it on herself to nurse Frans back to health.
Belinda discovers naughty letters between Maggie's stuff and shamelessly reads them despite Frans telling her to let sleeping dogs lie. Annetjie tries to find a love interest for Dirkie...
Annetjie smells a rat when Maggie and an attractive builder arrives at the shop. A girl wraps Dirkie around her little finger and Belinda grieves her lost fame.
Belinda hears that a soap opera is looking for an 'older' actress and decides it is now or never. Ian tries to overcome his fear of heights and Annetjie is jealous of the relationship between Frans and Belinda.
Everybody complain about how hard they work and Ian implements a strategy from his latest book on working relationships between managers and staff. Everyone switch roles...
Everyone is highly concerned when Frans falls ill. Ian is not sure how to tell Maggie that she is wearing too much perfume, and Dirkie meets a new girl, but all is not what it seems.
Belinda replaces Annetjie as the organiser of the shops birthday bash. Everyone is at her beck and call to realise her vision, but will everything go according to plan?
Frans gets ready to hang out with Frans junior and his girl. Their conversation go sour quickly when Frans junior announces that he is getting married and wants to sell the farm.
