Ipeleng's near death experience has everyone re-evaluating their lives. Thato's desire to please his mother and do the right thing enrages Ntando.
Ipeleng is falling apart – depression and unhappiness has her in its clutches. Meanwhile, Thabang refuses to give up on his dream to marry Mandisa.
Vumani tries his best to go back to his bad boy ways, with some success. Mkhumbuleni goes for an interview organised by Ipeleng, and witnesses something shocking.
Mandisa is reeling from the heartbreak. Ntando has no choice but to lie to Thato about the nature of her relationship with Nqobi.
Ipeleng's shattered when she hears that Vumani found comfort in Nelisiwe's arms. The noose of lies is tightening around Ntando's neck and Thato and Vumani make peace.

Ipeleng is in a terrible way after her drunken binge, as her family rallies around her. Angry and irrational, Ntando thinks she can get her revenge on Nqobi.
The friends are shocked when Ntando shows up wielding a gun and what follows thereafter proves that nobody is free from the consequences of their choices...
