Eddie can't stand to be around Cebile and yearns for a life with Raisibe, but Raisibe has no place for him in her life.
Raisibe arrives at the Mbatha household, ready to uncover who killed her daughter. Consequently, Eddie and Cebile are thrust into a world of chaos.
Cebile and Eddie's marriage is becoming strained and Eddie wants a divorce. Cebile will have none of it and threatens Eddie and Raisibe's farm if he goes through with a divorce.
Frank comes out of prison and cements his deal with Eddie. Cebile looks to stop Raisibe from looking to Mosima's death and get her back to Limpopo.
Eddie is shocked to get news about a person confessing to Mosima's hit-and-run. He is irate when he realises that Cebile set it up, but he goes along with it.
Cebile has managed to solve her problem with Madondo but another rears its head in the form of Eddie's divorce papers.
Following Zenzile's disappearance, everything at the Mbatha house falls apart; Eddie turns to the bottle and Cebile seeks comfort in the arms of another man, MJ.
While Zenzile finds herself getting lost in the oddness of her spiritual group, Joseph helps Eddie get rid of his mistake.
Lindani and Cebile's relationship is falling apart and MJ is in the middle of it. Frank is chuffed with himself, having killed two birds with one stone.
Raisibe can't let Tokelo's disappearance go and focuses her blame on Eddie. Zenzile's initiation day has arrived and Gundane doesn't like it one bit.
Raisibe wants Cebile to go to prison for what she did and when she finds out that Eddie has the evidence to make it so, she insists that Eddie use it to have Cebile taken.
In the aftermath of Cebile taking Eddie and Raisibe hostage, things take a turn for the worse when her daughter arrives.
Lindani loses MJ thanks to Cebile's vengeance. Zenzile leaves the city for a new life in Limpopo.
