In the beginning, there was the river. A favoured child returns to Ikot Ndem but there are stealers of shine all over the place.

The rivalry between Anie and Ruth escalates. The wrong kind of sparks fly between Nsi and Ima while Jonas keeps making the wrong decisions.

Edidiong delivers a beat down to her latest rival while Henry and Jonas get their final warning as the day of the Uyere Festival finally arrives.

Chaos erupts as the Chief Priest goes unconscious. Uwem is hastily installed as his successor, and Edidiong's body is discovered in the river.
