t's Makiese's birthday and everyone is looking for Joaquim Ernesto who went fishing and never came back. Monifa murdered Joaquim, however she lost her earring at the crime scene.
Joaquim's body has been found; Ernesto's family cannot afford to pay for his death and funeral. Wanda found Monifa's earring at the crime scene and is suspicious.
Monifa and Henda go to the funeral of Joaquim Ernesto to give their contribution. Dimuka arrives, gets irritated by their presence in his father's house and chases them out of there with blows.

Henda quer arranjar uma maneira de forjar a localização do GPS do carro de Monifa, para que a sua tia seja inocentada.
Monifa quer ver Makiese morta e tenta obrigar Brazão a encarregar-se de que isso aconteça, chantageando-o.
Kiene e Flor estão cada vez mais convencidos de que Henda é o verdadeiro assassino e tentam encontrar provas para livrar a mãe deles da cadeia.
Ngongo foi esfaqueado pelo seu amor por Makiese e corre risco de morte. Monifa revela a Henda que teve uma filha na adolescência e que a abandonou no rio.
Henda falsifica a carta que Wanda deixou para Kiene, antes de morrer, inventando que ela matou Joaquim Ernesto.
Brazão faz questão de mostrar a carta falsa de Wanda, dizendo que é culpada e todos acreditam, excepto Dimuka.
Monifa está livre. Acabou de voltar para casa, mas ainda magoada com Simão por lhe ter posto na cadeia.
Makiese vai se desculpar com Monifa e acaba por ser escorraçada. Kiene não se consegue perdoar por se ter apaixonado por uma assassina.
Welema está de volta à mansão dos Tchiyo, mesmo sabendo que não é bem-vinda, inclusive para o seu filho, que lhe odeia por lhe ter abandonado.
Henda não suporta estar sobre o mesmo teto que a sua mãe, por isso exige que ela seja expulsa, ou será ele a sair.
Welema cai das escadas e revela que tem câncer terminal. Henda decide ultrapassar a mágoa do passado e aproveitar o pouco tempo que lhes resta, como mãe e filho.
Welema vai visitar Patrícia e enquanto põe a conversa em dia, conhece Epalanga, por quem se sente atraída. Percival tem um assalto marcado e quer que Dimuka vá com ele.
Dimuka participa do assalto e finge ter conseguido vender o negócio para justificar as compras e o dinheiro que levou para a casa.
Os Tchiyo decidem passar o fim-de-semana fora; Welema vê a oportunidade perfeita para convidar uns amigos do musseque e dar uma festa na mansão.
Monifa flagra Welema com Epalanga na sua cama e quer que ela saia da mansão o mais rápido possível.
