Former all-pro football player Spencer Strasmore wakes up haunted by memories of his playing days. He chews down pain meds to start his day.

After Spencer sells a savings bond to an older woman, Joe tells him to stop playing small ball. Spencer counters that he's just signed on Vernon Littelfied as a client.

Spencer and Joe visit their boss, "Old Man Anderson," on his yacht. They want to make a push to sign more high-income athletes, but they need to borrow his yacht to attract them.

Spencer wakes from another fitful night's sleep, dreaming about a particularly hard hit. Tracy notices that something isn't right and insists he go see a neurologist.

Spencer and Joe meet with potential new client Victor Cruz, ignoring incoming calls from Vernon. Spencer wants to move on, but Joe answers the phone - Vernon's in trouble.

Charles decides to be selfish for a change. Joe negotiates with Maximo. Ricky is forced to open up to save his career when his off-field activities are exposed by the press.

Spence and Joe aim to protect Vernon's image ahead of contract negotiations, while Ricky and Charles both find themselves in hot water after good tomes at the Fun House.

Spencer must face up to his past in order to save Vernon; Joe makes a permanent commitment to his future; Charles puts his skills to work at the car dealership.

Spencer drops by Vernon's house to deliver good news: Angie handed over all the photos.

Spencer arrives at work to find his office cleared out and Joe's destroyed. Spencer is still baffled when Virginia, his new personal assistant, introduces herself. She escorts him to his new office, which is a definite upgrade.
