Ibiza Narcos, Disorganised Crime

When hippies started arriving in Ibiza in the 1960s and 70s, they brought with them not only the desire for an alternative lifestyle, but also a cavalier taste for mind-altering drugs.

In the late 1980s, Ibiza's reputation as a party island began attracting hedonistic young revellers in their droves. Britain's illegal rave scene exploded, driven by the new drug, ecstasy.

By the early 2000s, Ibiza’s hedonistic club scene was hosting some of the biggest parties in the world. The drug groups came, saw and conquered the island.
