The Ranakas, Episode 9

Dineo wants to start an eatery at home and needs her parents to be on board with it. Manaka wants to do a cleansing ceremony and Ntate Ranaka has a new illness.

It's Ntate Ranaka's 75th birthday and most of his kids have made other plans and Mama is letting them have it. Mama Ranaka and Mpumi both get their test results.

It's Ranaka's birthday and Mpumi and her friends are all levels of ratchet. Dineo surprises Ranaka at his DJ gig in Midrand.

Mama chooses a turn up over family matters. Ziggy pitches an interesting event to Mpumi and the eatery drama begins.

Manaka has a message from the dead and Dineo has trouble in paradise.

Ntate Ranaka finally gives the eatery the thumbs up, but with a warning. Mpumi and Mama Siba address the planks in the yard.

The kids are jealous of Ntate Ranaka's other son. Ziggy and Michelle are at loggerheads. Meanwhile, it's another round of Mpumi and Dineo's rivalry.

Dineo won't stand Mpumi's ambush and walks out. While the sisters are at loggerheads, the brothers are coming together to plan a brotherhood event in Maboneng.

Manaka has a play date with her nephews. Dineo arrives home to find that Mama and Manaka have changed her Eatery vision, and she wants out of the equation!

Dineo has fought with Manaka, and feels it's time to reconnect with Mpumi so they can iron out their issues.The family is catching up on the season finale of 'Lockdown'.

Mpumi is back and catching up with her eldest son about her trip to Germany. Ziggy and Ranaka are not seeing eye to eye.

Ranaka has a date with Bontle. Mpumi is in need of marital advice from Ntate Ranaka.

It's the day before the launch of the Eatery and Mama is inundated with work. Dineo is not around due to work commitments and Ranaka isn't willing to help out.
