A single mother, Abrefi plans to move to Kumasi for her sick son's treatment. Lacking funds, she sells her grandmother's garment, while Maame Afia raises her sister Serwaa.

Abrefi moves to Ash Town, where a reluctant landlord rents her a room. She finds a bag with cash, a gun, and a charm, unleashing chaos among the compound's quirky tenants.

Ato and Paa defraud land buyers with pregnant Yaa's help, and then poison her. Haunted by her ghost, they bury the cash, gun, and charm, until Kwakye steals it, triggering chaos.

As the fetish priest tracks the cursed bag, Berko and Abrefi exchange a telling glance. Their buried past resurfaces as greed and chaos consume the compound's residents.

Tensions rise over the bag’s ownership as tenants clash. Abrefi’s plea for her son calms the storm. Later, Berko reveals their painful past and vows to steal to help her.

After Maafia confronts Abrefi, the bag and Maame Serwaa vanish. Serwaa flaunts the cash in Bantama, alerting Ato's crew. The sisters escape and return the bag to the compound.

Berko hides the money and plans a future for Abrefi, gifting identical cloths to her and Yaa. As distrust grows and Bonsu seeks the cash, a greater, unseen threat looms.

The boss hunts his precious missing bag as flashy spending by Asantewaa and Serwaa draws danger to the compound. Kweku and Bonsu's return ends in shame when Asare catches them.

Asare and Kwakye rush to expose the bag's dark secret. The fetish priest offers help if Jack forgives a debt, while Berko's secret with Abrefi is caught by Frimpong.

The boss dumps his girlfriend for Maafia, while Ato and Paa hide. Mr. Osei seizes the money, Asantewaa confronts Berko and Abrefi, then Abrefi's son collapses in Maafia's arms.

Yaa Asantewaa confronts Berko over his affair and secret child with Abrefi. Berko visits Abrefi at the hospital, vows to start anew, and secretly gives her stolen money.
