Jony and Gawie convince the staff to go on a diet in solidarity with Ferdie. It spirals into a weight-loss race with a Gawie-sponsored weekend at Sun City for the winner.
The Hotel hosts a funeral which sparks Ferdie to organize his own funeral while he is still alive. It is Jony's last day and Thomas gets Malanie, Danny and Brenda to organize her a going away party.
Jony is back, but Danny refuses to leave his new position as receptionist. The power struggle in the foyer leads to new initiatives and excellent service. The staff dig up a time capsule.
It's wedding week. Danny and Malanie are getting married. Dodgy teaches Danny to read between lines and give Malanie the wedding of her dreams.
Ferdie arranges a baby week for the staff couples. It becomes a competition to see who can be the best parent. Jony struggles and Thomas is an absent father.
In trying to get the staff to stop doing their side-hustles at work, Thomas and Ferdie unwittingly end up eating cannabis muffins. Malanie eventually wins Ferdie over.
Jeff, a personal life coach arrives for staff training. When Jeff's wallet is stolen, Ferdie puts the staff on lock-down till the culprit is found. As the investigation goes on, the staff begin to question each others integrity.
After being boycotted by another venue, Jo Black arrives at the hotel and convinces Thomas to let him use The Fransen to host an event for The Knights Of Truth.
After the Fransen finally receives its third star, Stephano makes an offer on the hotel that Thomas and Ferdie can't refuse. They decide to sell the Fransen.
Ferdie and Thomas is bored with their time and money and decide to get the hotel back. It's harder than they thought as all the personnel has moved on.
- Ferdie Kruger is the manager of boutique hotel The Fransen. The Lourier hotel group buys this rough diamond as their latest acquisition and sends Thomas from the head office to monitor the transition.
