Mia ends up by herself on a bus full of students on their way to Intervarsity. Luckily Simeon is there to keep her company. André falls in love with the Otters' res daughter.

Jocelyn and Delmari try to catch Kyla in a lie. Amanda becomes a third wheel in Mia and Simeon's bet. Shay realises that Maggie is moulding her into a domestic partner.

Kyla is faced with one of the biggest decisions of her life. Amanda discusses her relationship with Simeon with Daniel, and Shay struggles to accept that Maggie sees her as an equal.

Ragel sets up a dinner date with her daughter and Maggie to understand their relationship better, but the evening doesn't go as planned.

Kyla is at a crossroads about whether to give the money back or keep it. Amanda becomes increasingly jealous of Mia and Simeon's friendship.

Against everyone's advice, Amanda helps Nastasha to organise the Mother and Daughter Tea. Daniël realises why she wanted to help in the first place.

Mia and Simeon's friendship deepens and boundaries are pushed. Kyla's gran comes for a visit, but it isn't a very friendly visit.

Kyla tries to save her academic career. Mia discovers herself with Simeon, and Daniel asks Amanda to be his girlfriend.

The Otters have all synced and when Shay and Amanda do the girl math, they realise that there is a big chance that Amanda is pregnant.

Kyla cheats on an important test, and Ragel is upset that Shay might become a mother. Mia tells Amanda she slept with Simeon.

Kyla explores her dark side and gives Jessie the cold shoulder after asking for help. Amanda is worried about Shay who is still in pain. Simeon writes Daniel's name on the Sweat List.

To dodge Daniel's request, Amanda organises a Grot movie night. Mia is forced to come clean about her actions.

The Otters support Amanda to confront the truth as the web of lies threatens to swallow her.

Someone's room catches fire, and everyone in Pantera must evacuate. In the chaos, Mia comes to Jessie's rescue, and Amanda is happy not to be the center of attention.

In the fire's aftermath, Jessie tries very hard to keep her secret. Mia is still fighting with the Otters, and Nastasha devises a dangerous plan.

The HC has been suspended, Nastaha moves out, Shay is ill, Amanda is lonely, Kyla is suspected of cheating and Mia realises she loves her residence.

Shay wakes up in the hospital, where she shares a room with the real Barbara Kannemeyer, who gives her some much-needed perspective.

A virus spreads in Pantera just before the sêr prelims, and Mia fails her first task as a house committee member. Amanda and Shay come to her rescue.

Amanda and Shay look forward to making their dream room a home. But an unannounced guest derails their plans.

The Otters devise a plan to finally say goodbye to Die Grot. Will everyone be in time to breathe in the mould for the last time?
