Uthando Nes'Thembu

Mseleku goes to meet MaKhwela in Umhlanga to have a chat with her. Mseleku reports his wives to Gog' Flo and the wives confront Mseleku about his shortcomings from the previous season.

Mseleku goes to all of his wives and he tells them that he wants to invite them to a dinner with a twist. The wives feel like Mseleku's words are often hurtful and inconsiderate.

The day of the grand dinner has arrived and Mseleku surprises his wives by having them all watch the last episode of season 7 of Uthando Nes'thembu.

There are a few shocking revelations that come with the watch party of Uthando Nes'thembu and Mseleku finds himself in another crossfire.

On the drive back home from the dinner Mseleku and MaCele get into a fight. Mayeni is nowhere to be found after the dinner and Mseleku is not sure if MaNgwabe is staying or leaving.

MaCele is not impressed by Musa's claim that he serves her. MaKhumalo wants to know if MaNgwabe is leaving the family. Musa surprises MaKhwela with a visit to MaCele's home.

MaCele warmly welcomes MaKhwela to her home. MaKhwela talks to her mother about her new man. MaYeni is livid because Musa didn't support her when Mnini was poisoned.

MaYeni interrogates Musa about number 5. MaNgwabe leaves Musa unsure of their future. Musa talks to an uninterested MaKhumalo about number 5.

MaKhumalo is disappointed that Musa is breaking a promise he made to her. MaKhwela meets the Cele family and Mseleku's kids, and Sne drops a bomb on the family.

Sne accepts that Samke is now her new mother. Mnini breaks down at the beach, and Musa's attempts to console him are unsuccessful. The family is shaken up when Musa suddenly falls ill.

MaCele blames the other wives for Musa's sickness. MaKhwela denies ever being friends with Sne. Musa gives Mpumelelo instructions on handling the family.

MaCele sneaks in MaKhwela to see Musa in hospital. MaYeni thinks the arrival of number 5 landed Musa in hospital. Musa's health unexpectedly takes a turn for the worse.

MaKhumalo calls a meeting with the wives to discuss a way forward with Musa's health. Musa is back home. MaCele is not happy that Musa wants to give one house to Mpumelelo.

Musa finds himself at odds with MaYeni when he plays messenger for MaCele. MaKhumalo doesn't back down on her views about number 5 coming to the eMzumbe homestead.

With his health scare fresh in his mind, Musa wants to do a thanksgiving for his life and wives and MaYeni is quick to remind him of his shortcomings.

Musa does a thanksgiving ceremony for his life and invites the Duma clan. Tempers flare when one of Duma men ask Musa's wives if number 5 can enter the homestead.

Things don't go as planned at the thanksgiving ceremony when MaKhwela is not allowed to enter the Mseleku homestead. Musa and his wives have a family meeting and MaCele is under fire for her part in the number 5 saga.

MaKhumalo is tired of Musa covering up for MaCele's wrongdoings. Musa is crucified for MaCele's actions. Musa tasks Sne with a very important task and has a vulnerable moment with Abongwe.

Abongwe has a heart-to-heart conversation with Mthombeni. MaCele holds a prayer session for Musa at the beach. MaKhumalo tries to advise Mthombeni to be gentle in bringing in number 5.

Mthombeni is finally turning 50, and the whole family, including his in-laws, is coming to celebrate with him. MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe are late, which rubs Mthombeni off the wrong way.

Mthombeni makes an emotional speech at his party, talking about the difficulties he has faced in building his family. Sne's gift for her father makes him very emotional.

Mpumelelo takes a walk with his dad to help him exercise. Mthombeni calls a family meeting to invite his wives on a family trip, and MaCele and MaYeni come face to face after the family meeting.

MaCele takes Mthombeni out to discuss the fight at the family dinner and the behaviour of his wives. Mthombeni finally makes good on his promise and sends 'amandwendwe' to the Khwela family.

MaKhwela has a big surprise in store for Mthombeni. MaCele tells Sne that she needs to go on a family trip. Mthombeni and MaKhwela go on a much-needed staycation to spend some time alone.

MaKhwela and Mthombeni meet MaCele about a serious matter that will change the family dynamics forever. It's the day of the family trip, and Mnini can't tag along. Tensions are on the rise at the family trip.

After Sne leaves the table, Thando has a few words that leave the table shaken. MaKhwela meets a designer in preparation for her big day. MaYeni rejects Musa's advances.

MaCele takes MaKhwela on a staycation while the family is on a getaway. Musa's task for the wives leaves MaKhumalo entertained by MaNgwabe's choice of art.

Macele and MaKhwela continue with their getaway, but they both miss Musa. The family has a great time on the family trip, bonding and playing games. Musa is at his wits' end with Sne, so he asks Mpumelelo to assist.

The family getaway ends sourly when MaNgwabe suddenly decides to leave after Mthombeni upsets her. Mseleku is not happy with MaCele divulging certain matters to MaKhwela.

Mthombeni confronts MaNgwabe about leaving the family trip prematurely. MaCele takes Babakhe to the site she bought, much to Babakhe's dissatisfaction.

MaNgwabe, MaKhumalo, and Mpilo throw in the towel regarding Sne. Mthombeni calls for dinner with his wives, but MaYeni refuses to attend, prompting Mthombeni to confront her.

Hot off the confrontation with MaYeni, the dinner starts badly. MaKhumalo feels betrayed and disrespected by Mthombeni. MaNgwabe tries to ease the tension at the table, to no avail.
