Mzali Wam, Episode 8

Ntokozo and Joyce return home to start their new lives as mother and daughter. They receive a warm welcome, however things change when Francine sees Ntokozo is replacing her in Joyce's life.

Ntokozo starts her new job at Second Chances NGO. She's thrown into the deep end when she's tasked with a project of reuniting twenty abandoned girls with their birth parents.

When Ntokozo calls "home" with the intentions of speaking to her father, she learns the shocking news of his passing, and rushes to be by Sibongile's side in her time of turmoil.

Ntokozo oversleeps and nearly misses her presentation, all thanks to Francine's sabotage. The day gets worse when she realises that her presentation has been tampered and she can't present.

Joyce takes the bull by the horns and addresses the growing tension in the house, forcing Francine to apologise to Ntokozo for her actions, even though Francine is not feeling remorseful.

Both Ntokozo and Joyce push for Francine to give her mother, Phathiswa a chance to have her say as to why she wants to reunite.

Lungelo is revealed as the mastermind behind the trafficking of the girls.

The hunt is on to find the culprit behind the disappearance of the girls and Ntokozo and Joyce narrow down their list of suspects to none other than Terror.

The news of Terror's death comes as a shock to everyone, but Musa wants nothing to do with his funeral.

Joyce's life hangs in the balance following the accident and Francine immediately regrets her actions. Ntokozo fears she will lose her mother just as they were starting to bond.

Joyce returns home and her loved ones throw a party for her to celebrate her return. It is also at this party that Musa takes a huge leap and proposes to Ntokozo.

Everyone is on high alert when they learn that both Musa and Francine are missing. The authorities are called to try and help locate them.

It's a week later, and there's still no sign of Francine. The cops are still looking for Francine, while Ntokozo lives in fear that she will return and ruin things for her.
