Jabu does not make it on time for his mom's funeral and Papi is not impressed. The family learns that Buyisile had many secrets, one being a debt owed to a loan shark.

The guests at Ekhaya are not too happy with the customer service. Jabu rallies the troops to assign duties for their new business venture, and the family keeps trying to cut corners.

Jabu decides to get proper in-house help. Malume and Gogo start a business on the side. Madibuseng pulls a random move to protect what is hers.

The family receive a cease and desist letter. Papi and Jabu try their best to get the business registered, but it is not that easy. Jabu's true colours come out in Lerato's presence.

Jabu tries his best to cancel their guest bookings diplomatically. Madibuseng tries to keep the business running 'off the books'. Meanwhile, Gogo tries to fraternise with a guest.

The family's debt to The Undertaker grows, and he decides to conduct his other extracurricular activities at the house. Jabu suggests using Madibuseng as bait to get The Undertaker to walk away.
