With the possibility of losing the Zulu Land getting real by the day, Phingiwe is forced to swallow her pride and contact Mathew Sakuwaha, who unfortunately doesn't come to her aid.
Phingiwe gets through to Mathew to ask for help with the Zulu Land issue but he hangs up on her. With Dante cheering him on, Joshua makes progress his quest to gain some loyalty from Suwi.
Joshua declines teaming up against Phingiwe with Dante. Lute makes the most of Mainza's absence to deal with Sandra and the land issue becomes a race against time.
To Sandra's relief, Mainza and Mutinta come back to the village, landing Lute in family court. Zuba advises Phingiwe to make a decision before she loses both the land and the compensation.

Dante receives news that the Lusaka Fashion show has been canceled and has to come up with a plan for the launch of Edge, Mainza chases Kasonde from his house.
Zuba's mission to surprise Niko with new suits for the company goes wrong. Sangwa is crushed when he overhears Tasha saying that she no longer has any feelings for him.
Zeli gets jealous of Zuba when she finds her and Dante alone at the office, Sangwa gives Tasha a cold shoulder and Mwila takes an instant liking to Ivwananji.
Ivwananji is implicated in poisoning a waitress and Lute worries when she cannot reach Kasonde. Tasha returns to school to re-write her exams.
Niko manages to have Ivwananji released on bond, Kasonde shows up at Sosala Inc, claiming to have gone to just see Phingiwe and Trevor applies for a job at Sosala Inc.
Phingiwe agrees to host Kasonde only for one night, Mwila receives news of his mothers' death and Janet refuses financial help from Phingiwe.
Kasonde lies to survive another night in Phingiwe's house, Ivwananji is relieved to find out that the waitress who was poisoned is out of hospital and recovering.
Kasonde's illness turns out to be fake and Phingiwe is sick and tired of him. She, gives him money to leave the house, but he ends up applying for a job at Sosala Inc.
Niko faints under the pressure and Kasonde administers first aid to him. Vinny asks Sangwa to play a leading role in reconciling Janet to the Sosalas.
Kasonde is offered a job by Niko and asks to stay at the Gawas. Phingiwe tells Joshua and Senzeni that the DNA test will be done as soon as the baby clocks two months.
