Mzi moves from his small town home in Ladysmith to work for his uncle in Kwa Thema. Rex and Thembi take measures to salvage their football empire and a tragedy arises to everyone's shock.

As Mzi's family are trying to get to grips with the tragedy , the Kwena family have to race against time to save one of their own. Mzi makes a damning discovery.

Mzi and Tiny are shocked after watching the damning tape. The Scorpions play their first major game and Lefa finds himself having to explore an unfamiliar territory.

Mzi gets the opportunity of a lifetime and messes it up. Dudu is confronted by the ghost of her past. Kop is kidnapped.

Mzi signs a pact with the devil and Bra Rex visits an old friend for the Scorpions' next game. Someone walks in and may just have the right tools to solve a mystery.

Gab introduces himself to Mzi's family. Rex takes a chance on a player in the dying minutes of the game and it pays off. Mzi and Owami get close.

As Mzi enjoys the glory of his wins there is a serious problem at the supermarket that may bring his name to disrepute. Owami makes a damning discovery about Lefa.

Mzi confronts Gab as Lefa's world spirals out of control. Percy follows Dudu to church and Tiny meets his demise.

Everyone is shocked to hear about Tiny. Rex discovers something in the garden and Lefa reconnects with an old flame. Mzi feels overwhelmed and breaks down.

The Kwenas are in for a surprise when they find out who their visitor is and after a heated argument with his father Mzi is involved in a serious car accident.

There is panic among the Scorpions as news about Mzi spreads. Lefa is discharged from rehab and Percy decides to have a cleansing ceremony.

As Mzi's ceremony preparations are underway, Lefa makes a shocking revelation to his family. Tinyiko runs to Thembi with a note and a visit to the depot changes Mzi's life forever.

The Msomis and Kwenas come face to face at the Scorpion's biggest game and just when everything and everyone is coming to terms with the truth tragedy strikes.
