As Kenny settles into his new role as a closer for minor-league team Myrtle Beach Mermen, he visits Shelby for his son's birthday and is reunited with April.

Kenny heads north with baby Toby in search of April and attempts to liberate Stevie from the clutches of Ashley Schaeffer.

A pro scout arrives in Myrtle Beach. Steve lays down ground rules for his return to Kenny's team.

Convinced that his son is cursed, Kenny blames Toby for his recent issues. Steve is overcome by guilt.
