Uzulu Nomhlaba (Sonrise), Episode 11

A great maskandi legend dies on stage. A local loan shark threatens to begin with proceedings to seize Mhlaba's home. Later, Mhlaba meets Hlengiwe and falls head over heels.

Vakashile begs the Ntulis to drop the charges against Zulu. Mhlaba and Zulu compete at the Mzayiduma guitar competition. Who will be the new prince of maskandi?

MaNdlovu finds Mhlaba and Hlengiwe in a compromising position. A grief-stricken Bhekani writes a song for his late father. Later, he buys a gun and settles an old score - once and for all.

Zulu records a demo in an effort to get his hero's attention. Desperate for cash to save his home, Mhlaba does a cattle heist with Majuba and Zakhele.

Zulu meets Zama and pokes his rival via social media. Mhlaba and Hlengiwe get closer. Zulu is reminded of the importance of his arranged marriage to Hlengiwe.

Hlengiwe is presented by her uncles, but Zulu is missing in action. Mhlaba does his first live performance. Mhlaba breathes doubt into Zulu and Hlengiwe's relationship.

Hlengiwe breaks things off with her lover. A drunk Mhlaba disrespects Zulu and gets his most valued item smashed. Majuba and Mhlaba find something unexpected inside Mfecane's safe.

Vakashile watches his son's rival perform. Zulu discovers that he'll be working on his album with Mhlaba. A mystery man records lovers while they kiss on the side of the road.

Zulu sees the video footage of Hlengiwe and Mhlaba kissing and does the unthinkable. The Ntuli household gets riddled with bullets. Vakashile finds Zulu and Mhlaba in a deadly fight and drops a bombshell.

Zulu struggles to deal with the new revelation in his life. Mfecane calls a sangoma to rid him of his nightmares. Zulu and Hlengiwe are involved in an accident.

The least expected person comes to Hlengiwe and Zulu's rescue. Zulu records an offensive track aimed at Mhlaba. Hlonipha surprises Mhlaba with a dingy recording room.

Mhlaba gets arrested. Mfecane visits his estranged family. A national maskandi war breaks out and the rival brothers are summoned to the royal house.

uZulu noMhlaba learn the truth of a third force in their feud. They unite to finally get justice for themselves and those they have lost.
