Mzali Wam, Episode 1

Joyce tries to save her marriage and stop her husband from marrying a second wife by taking her newborn baby to show her in-laws that she's not barren.  

Twenty years later, Joyce runs a successful orphanage, and she's engaged to Terror. Meanwhile, Sibongile's life crumbles in KZN when her secret of 20 years is exposed.

Ntokozo leaves for Jo'burg to start a new life and career, while Sibongile fears that she may meet her biological mother.

When Ntokozo loses her internship when she pitches late for an interview, Musa organises for her to work at Joyce's orphanage.

Sibongile and Godfrey travel to Johannesburg to investigate what happened to Ntokozo. Their visit to the police station doesn't bear any fruits.

Joyce and Sibongile come face to face and after the fight and they both realise that they cannot go to the authorities with the information they have.

It's a rush against time to rescue both Joyce and Ntokozo. Sibongile, Busisiwe and Godfrey work hand in hand with the police in busting the syndicate and rescuing the victims.

Joyce wants the truth to come out but Sibongile tries to buy some time. When Joyce decides that she is having none of it, she comes clean to Ntokozo about being her birth mother.

With Joyce behind bars, Sibongile convinces Godfrey that they need to leave Johannesburg for Ntokozo's protection. Meanwhile, in jail, Joyce advocates for her innocence.

Joyce decides to play Sibongile at her own game and she travels down to KZN, surprising the Dlomos. During the meeting, Joyce flips the script on Sibongile.

With Godfrey's blessing, Ntokozo announces to Sibongile that she would like to travel to the Eastern Cape to meet her biological father.

Having not believed Joyce when she told the family that her child was stolen from her at the hospital, Joyce is vindicated when the Khaphayi family meets Ntokozo.

Ntokozo and Joyce return to KZN with Ntokozo having made the decision that she is going to live with Joyce. Sibongile is forced to confess the truth to Godfrey and he feels betrayed.
