Mndeni leaves his home and arrives KwaDelinkani for a quick in and out trip to present the Khethiwe Skhosana Maskandi Award, named for his late wife, but fate has other plans.
Mndeni is welcomed into the Delinkini brotherhood and just when he thought things couldn’t get better someone catches his eye.
Mndeni has found the family he has longed for and just when he thinks he is out of Sikhakhane and Captain Moloi's grip, Sikhakhane throws another spanner.
Things seem to be going well for most people in the hostel, Mndeni is free from his dreams and Zwelncane's song is a hit, but there is something sinister about Sikhakhane.
Mndeni finds himself staring into the barrel of the gun after a prominent member of the brotherhood is shot.
Vovo is banished from the brotherhood, but he won't go out without making the real perpetrator pay but things don't turn out the way they should.
Vovo sacrifices his life to save Mndeni. Sthandwa's past comes knocking at her door.
Mndeni's love for Sthandwa draws him closer to the dark side. The wedding ends in blood shed.
Celemba is shocked when he finds out that his enemies are right under his nose, and Mndeni goes into hiding.
The hostel is in lockdown and under AK's guard. Vovo is still in hiding. Themba takes the fall for Thabo and Neli's drug dealing.
