Maseko and his seven partners, two women and five men, take us through the complexity of their relationship. What divisions are sown amongst the partners due to competition for Maseko's attention?
Maseko's partners are met with disappointment and heartache when their families shun them for the relationship's organogram.
Maseko introduces his seventh partner to his ancestors. Jealousy rears its ugly head amongst the other partners who feel they also deserve similar ceremonies.
Maseko takes his wives for a yearly medical checkup, and not all wives are happy about the decision. All his partners surprise him with steamy sex.
The Maseko family prepare for the year by performing a cleansing ritual in the river. It does not turn out well as the wives get involved in a physical fight.
Maseko lets go of some partners, and he confides in his mother. Later, he decides he wants children from all his wives.
Maseko's mother hosts a traditional ceremony to introduce Mahlalaentabeni to the Maseko ancestors, and she blesses the ceremony by preparing traditional beer with her own hands.
Dabula complains to Maseko. He believes he is not treated fairly by the other partners. Fezile's family confront Maseko.
