The rivalry between the two families originates from the previous generations, until fate intervenes to unite Chiyumba's only daughter, NAMPINDI and Mazoka's only son Dimuna.

Nampindi finds herself feeling completely out of her element as she struggles to perform simple tasks in Maala, but her struggles lead her to a second meeting with Dimuna.

The Machila minibus batteries are stolen and the drivers believe it is the work of the Shimuunzas trying to sabotage them. Chiyumba is concerned about escalating troubles.
