Evita Bezuidenhout is the most famous white woman in South Africa. She lives in the mansion Excelsior with her three grandchildren. The gap between old and young is an unprecedented landscape.

The demolition of Excelsior seems imminent. Evita pays a visit to Luthuli house. A very important guest comes for tea and her grandson Nelson-Ignatius places her in a difficult position.
