Be careful what you wish for in this season premiere. Sophie is the nation's favourite TV comedy star, has a group of good friends and her romance with Dennis is full of promise. But trouble is just around the corner.

Sophie's got the gang back together, but it's not the same. Bill is distracted writing his novel, Tony is not thrilled with shouldering the sitcom workload and it's all super awkward with Dennis.

Sophie returns to rehearsals with the boys amidst media gossip about a romance with her French co-star. A night out to blow off steam results in a chance meeting that helps reinvigorate their ideas for the new show.
