Thomas is surprised at how normal things are at the Fransen since Ferdie married his mother… then he realises that Ferdie has always treated him like a son, and this drives him up the walls.

When Ferdie learns that Stephano is also running for Mayor, it sparks a new debate between the old rivals. A demanding guest with eccentric taste arrives at the hotel.

Ferdie and Brenda try to get the OUWROSS-party off the ground by appointing ward candidates and choosing a campaign theme that will cement his legacy in Fransenburg.

The Fransen is torn apart when Jony and Malanie realises that there is discrimination against woman. Ferdie and Thomas have a rough time to stop a protest action before it gets out of hand.

Danny must learn how to drive in order to convince Thomas to hire him as his Uber driver. In the meantime, Thomas's attention is distracted by a Tinder match. Jony confronts Malanie.

The Fransen is a hive of activity during dress rehearsals for Danny's play. Danny is confronted with the biggest lie of his life when two very special guests arrive.

The day of Danny's play and Ferdie's mayor debate dawns. The staff tries to convince Ferdie to be in the play when Nadia injures herself.
