Tare's murder at the wedding brings up a lot of questions as police investigations kick off with Officer Samson taking lead to find out who is behind the murder.

Lamar relationship in the past with Iman continues to fall apart. Malik offers help just to make his sister happy. Lamar's past continues to show up in his relationship.

Fejiro demands that Lamar end things with Jasmine. Sophie and Malik meet up and make an arrangement about the kind of relationship they want to have. Ann resurfaces at the company.

Fejiro meets a new person of interest. Things becomes heated between Adesoye and Malik. Sophie and Otito get into a really heated conversation. New information comes up about Tare's murder.

Years ago, Malik helps Lamar get Chief Douglas arrested. In present day Malik is freaking out about Soye's kidnap and reaches out to Lamar to let him know.

Iman is rushed to the hospital. Lamar apologizes. Adesoye moves out of the house. Fejiro opens to new friendships.

Otito's past relationship with Lanre Johnson is revealed. Ann sets an ultimatum for David to marry her. Malik and Adesoye seem to be going steady until Malik gets linked to Tare.

Ann tries to recruit Tare to work for Chief Douglas. Tare talks to David about his future in the company before making up his mind. Lamar settles into marriage with Jasmine.
