Karina manipulates Lueji into returning the cursed bracelet to Deolinda and even offers her a job as host at the Super Clube Mahinga. When confronted by Cláudio, Karina reveals herself in the form of a boa constrictor.

Cláudio discovers Lueji's involvement with the Super Clube Mahinga and decides to investigate the Assis family. Deolinda uses the cursed bracelet again, and under the control of Karina and Luzolo, she is sold to the Maiombola.

Deolinda's body is burning with fever: Sam, Baltazar, and Eliza are now certain that her soul has been sold to the Maiombola. Lueji confesses that she sought out Karina to harm Deolinda out of envy, leaving Eliza furious.
