How do I sign in to Showmax?

<h2>Sign in on your Smart TV or DStv Explora Ultra</h2>
There are two ways to sign in to Showmax on your Smart TV: by entering your Showmax email address on your Smart TV, or by scanning the QR code.
 
<h3>Using your email address</h3>
<ol><li>Open the Showmax app on your Smart TV.</li><li>Enter your Showmax email address and password using the on-screen keyboard.</li><li>Press OK.</li></ol>
 
You&#39;re now signed in and ready to start streaming!
 
<h3>Scanning the QR code</h3>
<ol><li>Open the Showmax app on your Smart TV.</li><li>Select Too much to type? to activate on your phone.</li><li>Scan the on-screen QR code using your smartphone camera, or open <a href="https://www.showmax.com/activate" target="_blank">www.showmax.com/activate</a> on another device.</li><li>Sign in to Showmax on your phone when prompted, using your Showmax email address and password.</li><li>Enter the code which is displayed on your Smart TV.</li><li>Select Continue.</li></ol>
 
Your TV screen will refresh, and you&#39;ll be signed in, ready to start streaming!
 
Good to know: You&#39;ll have 15 minutes to enter the code displayed on your Smart TV before it expires.
 
<h2>Sign in on the Showmax App</h2>
<ol><li>Open the Showmax App on your device.</li><li>Select Sign In.</li><li>Enter your email address and password, or <a href="https://www.showmax.com/help/article/how-to-sign-in-using-your-mobile-number" title="How do I sign in using my mobile number?" target="_blank">sign in using your mobile number</a>.</li><li>Select Sign In.</li></ol>
 
You&#39;re now signed in and ready to start streaming!

<ol><li>Go to <a href="https://www.showmax.com/" title="Showmax.com" target="_blank">Showmax.com</a>.</li><li>In the nav bar, Select Sign In.</li><li>Enter your email address and password, or <a href="https://www.showmax.com/help/article/how-to-sign-in-using-your-mobile-number" title="How do I sign in using my mobile number?" target="_blank">sign in using your mobile number</a>.</li><li>Select Sign In.</li></ol>
 
You&#39;re now signed in and ready to start streaming!
 
Good to know: If you don&#39;t see a sign in option when you open the Showmax.com, this means you&#39;re already signed in! You can start streaming, or <a href="https://www.showmax.com/help/article/how-do-i-sign-out-of-showmax" title="How do I sign out of Showmax?" target="_blank">sign out</a> to sign in with a different account.

On your card statement, after 'Showmax',  you'll see a 5-character billing descriptor next to the item you have been charged for. For example: 'Showmax 3BY4F'.

How do I find my billing descriptor?
