How do I change my payment method?: To change your payment method:
Go to Showmax.com and sign in.
Go to Account via the top-right menu bar.
Select Plans & Payments.
Select Update Payment Method.
Choose a new payment method and follow the steps.
Why am I billed in the local currency?: In certain countries, we may bill you for the subscription fees in your local currency as per our terms and conditions Clause 11.3.8.
The currency in which we will bill you will be displayed within the price points of the subscription fee
Prepaid Subscription: Why am I redirected to the prepaid subscription purchase page?: We recommend you check with your bank if your card is eligible for monthly recurring payments. Alternatively, Showmax offers secure prepaid subscription purchases.
Prepaid Subscription: Which subscriptions can be purchased?: 1 -,3-, 6- and 12-month prepaid subscriptions can be purchased with cards.
1-, 3-, and 6-months vouchers can be purchased with our approved partners.
Prepaid Subscription: How do I know if my card is enabled for 3D secure payments?: We recommend cardholders to check with their bank if their card is already enabled for 3D secure payments.
How do I pay for Showmax using my MTN airtime?: New Showmax account holders
Go to showmax.com and sign up.
Choose your plan.
Choose your plan type.
Create your account.
Choose "Pay with Airtime" and select "MTN".
Enter your MTN number.
Enter the OTP number.
Verify your account and start watching.
Existing Showmax account holders
Go to showmax.com and sign in.
Go to account on the top right corner.
Under the plans and payments tab select "update payment".
Choose "Pay with Airtime" and select "MTN."
Enter your MTN number.
Enter the OTP number.
Confirm the subscription.
Your subscription is active, and you are ready to start watching.
Please note: If you have an existing payment method, you will first need to cancel that billing arrangement with the partner before you can select a new billing partner.

When will I be billed for my Showmax subscription?: We capture your billing details when you subscribe to Showmax, that will be your billing date every month if you have chosen the recurring monthly payment method.
E.g. if you subscribed to Showmax on the 10th you will be billed on the 10th of every month.
