My Showmax app isn’t working

<h2>Verify your email address and mobile number</h2>
<p>If you can sign in on <a href="https://www.showmax.com/start" title="Showmax.com" target="_self">Showmax.com</a>, but not on the Showmax app, you may need to verify your <a href="https://www.showmax.com/help/article/how-do-i-verify-my-showmax-email-address" title="Verify your Showmax email address" target="_blank">email address</a> or <a href="https://www.showmax.com/help/article/how-do-i-update-and-verify-my-showmax-mobile-number" title="Verify your Showmax mobile number" target="_blank">mobile number</a>.</p>

<h2>Sign out of your Showmax account </h2>
<p>Sometimes simply signing out and signing back in can resolve a variety of issues. Follow the instructions below to sign out of your Showmax account:</p>
<ol><li>In the Showmax app’s homepage, click on your avatar</li><li>Click on the Account button and go to Settings.</li><li>Select Sign Out  at the bottom of the screen. </li><li>Wait a few minutes and sign back in. </li></ol>

<h2>Check for Updates</h2>
<p>Ensure you device operating system and your Showmax app is up to date. Check your manufacturer’s instructions for details on how to update your device operating system. Check for a new version of the Showmax app in your device’s store (Google Play Store, App Store, LG Content Store, etc.).</p>

<h2>Reinstall the app</h2>
<p>If your Showmax app is up to date, try clearing data by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as this often helps to resolve app issues. <br>Note that if you delete the app, any downloaded content will be deleted and will need to be downloaded again.</p>
