Off-Us Payments Terms and Conditions

The off-us payment method allows you to make whole or incremental payments of amounts into a Showmax account balance so that you can pay the Subscription Fee for the Subscription Plan that you subscribe to from time to time. You can make payment at any time through any one of our partners that accept these payments (“Off-us Payment Partners”).

Should you wish to use the off-us payment method, you will need to have a valid mobile number, and we will create a Showmax account balance under your Showmax Account when you make the initial payment through any of the Off-us Payment Partners.

A Subscriber can only pay the full Subscription Fee for the Subscription Plan that they wish to subscribe for, using the funds available in your Showmax account balance. You cannot use the funds available in your Showmax account balance, to pay part of the Subscription Fee. If you do not have sufficient funds to pay for the Subscription Plan you have chosen, you can subscribe for a different Subscription Plan, or you can top-up the funds at an Off-us Payment Partner to enable you to continue watching the Subscription Plan that you have subscribed for.

You can top-up your Showmax account balance using the off-us payment method regardless of your Subscription Plan and even when you have selected a different payment method in the past.

If a Subscriber chooses to use the off-us payment plan, the funds in the Showmax account balance can only be used for the Subscription Plan with once-off payment.

If you have a recurring payment method linked to your Showmax Account and you also wish to use the off-us payment method, we will use the amount available in your Showmax account balance to pay the Subscription Fee for your Subscription Plan. If the amount is not sufficient to cover the full Subscription Fee, will deduct the balance of the Subscription Fee from your recurring payment method. You hereby authorize us to continue to use your recurring payment method to pay the monthly Subscription Fees for your Subscription Plan.

The funds in a Subscriber’s Showmax account balance will not attract interest and will remain in the Showmax account balance until used by a Subscriber to pay the Subscription Fee.

We will keep the amount in a Subscriber’s Showmax account balance for the period allowed by law, and any requests for refunds will be processed in accordance with the law. We do not process partial refunds.
